    Eyes Forward

    I saw her moving
    from far down the street. When I got

    near her and she passed
    by me she was staring

    straight ahead: I saw it.
    I understood as it got

    dark and the street lights
    came on, around me. I noticed

    another woman
    walk by, sort of.
