Aftermath of a Much Longer Title

Baby, it went: you were baby
no more. The shaking and sliding

and whatever it was
remained, that’s all.

I can’t remember the verb—it was a wild day—

Now, just me
on the path without cares

or paper; and I’m dancing
free of you and that syntaxed

mood, baby.
